The “Russian Business Code” course is a program adapted to meet the needs of foreign business professionals
The course is entirely online and includes live synchronous sessions and recordings for independent study
Two options are available: 5 classes of 4 academic hours each (intensive) or 2–3 classes per week for 2–3 weeks
Classes are conducted in English and Russian, which allows students to master not only the concepts but also the practical language of business communication
The teaching methodology includes lectures, analysis of real business cases, discussions, and situation analysis
The course provides ready‑made tools for real negotiations and business communication
Completion of the course includes presenting a case study on successful interaction with Russian partners and obtaining a TPU Certificate
Russian Business Code: Intercultural Communication for Successful Business
The course is based on the extensive expertise of Professor Natalia Alexandrovna Lukyanova — Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Director of the School of Social Sciences at TPU, and a specialist in the field of communication processes, semiotics, and social epistemology.
To successfully conduct business in Russia or with Russian partners, it is not enough to know the language — it is necessary to understand the cultural context, non‑verbal signals, the style of negotiation and decision‑making, the structure of the business hierarchy, and the role of personal relationships in business. In the Russian business world, trust and personal connections often matter more than formal contracts.
