The project is based on the principle of “language through profession, profession through language.” Participants do not memorize abstract grammatical structures; instead, they immediately immerse themselves in professional communication in Russian within the context of the tourism business. Tomsk and TPU act here as a living learning laboratory: the city is a case for analysis, the university is a platform for expertise, and the Russian language is the key to understanding and interaction.
The program is implemented with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Tomsk Region, which ensures its practical focus, its connection to the real business community, and access to current case studies from the tourism industry and the region’s creative economies.
