The CHEM BOOST program is intended for foreign students who plan to enroll in the master's degree program at Russian technical universities, who want to master or systematize their knowledge of chemistry in Russian, who are preparing to take the entrance exams in chemistry at universities in the Russian Federation, and who also need to adapt to the Russian-speaking academic environment and chemical terminology.

Composition of substances. Chemical formulas and reactions. Valency of elements. Properties of substances.
The main classes of inorganic compounds
Oxides, bases, acids, salts. Nomenclature
Stoichiometric laws
The law of conservation of mass. The law of constant composition. Avogadro's law. Calculations based on chemical formulas and equations.
The structure of matter
The electronic structure of the atom. The periodic law and the periodic table of D.I. Mendeleev. Chemical bonding (covalent, ionic, metallic)
Patterns of chemical reaction processes
Thermochemistry (thermal effects of reactions). Chemical equilibrium (Le Chatelier's principle). The rate of chemical reactions (factors affecting the rate).
Solutions
Methods of expressing solution concentration (mass fraction, molar concentration). Non‑electrolytes and electrolytes. Dissociation.
Electrochemical processes
Chemical sources of current. Corrosion of metals. Electrolysis
